Every position is a permanent, full-time role, based in Paris or Barcelona, hybrid with client travel. Your application always gets a reply.

You modernize our clients' critical application estates: migrating COBOL mainframe cores to Java and the cloud, AI-assisted refactoring, breaking up monoliths. You code with the best AI tools on the market, grounded in the actual structural analysis of the systems, and you ship code verified in production.

What you'll do

  • Migrate and rewrite critical components (COBOL to Java 21, modern .NET, cloud-native services)
  • Industrialize AI-assisted refactoring on codebases of several million lines
  • Make deliveries reliable: tests targeted at actual execution paths, reviews, CI/CD

Your profile

  • 3+ years of Java or .NET development on enterprise systems
  • A taste for complex legacy and its transformation, engineering rigor
  • Hands-on practice of AI code assistants and a critical eye on their output

You design the modernization architectures and the AI engineering chains of our engagements: decoupling trajectories, grounding pipelines that connect the models to the structural truth of the code, production-grade agentic tooling. You are the technical guarantor of what jolyet.ai delivers.

What you'll do

  • Design target architectures (services, data, cloud) and the trajectories to reach them
  • Build production AI chains: grounding on structural analysis, agents, evaluation
  • Make the technical calls and raise the engineering team's bar

Your profile

  • 8+ years in software engineering, including real architecture practice on critical systems
  • Concrete mastery of LLMs in production: RAG, agents, evaluation, limitations
  • The ability to defend an architecture in front of a CIO as well as a development team

You lead our engagements in banking and finance: moving out of mainframe legacy, DORA compliance, operational resilience. You speak both languages, the architects' and the executives', and you turn command of the code into confident investment decisions.

What you'll do

  • Frame and steer modernization trajectories for core banking systems, from diagnosis to deployment
  • Translate technology and regulatory risk into business cases for the executive committee
  • Build the relationship with our clients' CIOs, CISOs, and finance leadership

Your profile

  • 6+ years in consulting or IT transformation in financial services
  • Genuine regulatory culture (DORA, resilience) and knowledge of core banking systems
  • Comfortable presenting at leadership level, demanding on substance as well as form

You lead our industrial engagements: embedded software and the software-defined vehicle, S/4HANA ERP modernization, platform standardization across brands. You turn knowledge of embedded code and industrial systems into product decisions and measured gains.

What you'll do

  • Steer engagements on embedded software command: OTA update impact, quality, security
  • Frame S/4HANA programs: Z-Code triage, business rule preservation, project acceleration
  • Carry the value story to CTOs, COOs, and industrial leadership

Your profile

  • 6+ years in consulting or transformation in industry, automotive, or manufacturing
  • An understanding of embedded software, ERPs, and platform stakes
  • A taste for the industrial field and for quantified results

You are the engineer embedded with our clients: you settle into their teams, you understand their real environment, and you build end to end the solutions that take AI from pilot to production. From discovery to deployment, the result is yours.

What you'll do

  • Embed with client teams (up to 50% on-site) to frame, build, and deploy
  • Develop integrations, data pipelines, and agents in demanding environments (SSO, legacy, compliance)
  • Feed the field back into our methods and tooling: what you learn at one client serves them all

Your profile

  • 5+ years of software engineering with real client exposure
  • Full autonomy in ambiguity: you move forward without a playbook and report back with clarity
  • Relational excellence: you represent jolyet.ai at the client, from the development team to the sponsor
